Win a "Free" Mission Trip!
Each year it happens: A few of the youth end up doing the bulk of the fundraising and show up at every event, even if its just for an hour.
We want to reward their faithfulness and dedication! So we take attendance at every mission event and fund raiser and in the spring just before that final mission payment is due, we put the names of those youth who attended 90% of the required events (and the events on their covenant forms,) in a jar and pick a winner to have that final payment waived (and , if funds permit, to get the entire tuition payment back.) In 2007 we gave away three trips!
To be eligible the youth must attend each fundraiser and mission prep meeting in person. Your covenant form lists all the required events so be sure you have done your mission interview and your covenant form is on file with Barb. If you cant be at a required event, but you call in and get excused, your names go in a separate jar and you are still eligible for a free meal on the trip.
We understand our youth are busy and involved in many things. We wanted to show the ones who make it to every church sponsored event that we are proud of them!
